Guest guest
Well, you could get yourself a small bottle of Certified Organic Eucalyptus Oil and put 2 - 3 drops into a good sized pot of very hot water. Put a towel over your head and inhale the steam through your nose, being very careful not to burn the inside of your nose though. Also take lots of garlic and start using Cayenne. All very wonderful. These will be remedial for you. However, if you desire to rid yourself of this condition then take a very serious look at your diet and lifestyle. Dont' get me wrong, I am not saying that your lifestyle and diet are necessarily bad. But most all ailments can be cured through diet and lifestyle modification. Guest guest
Hi Lisa, try Nettle (Urtica dioica) leaf, does wonders for the sinuses and allergies too. Doc's recipe of Total Tonic in the files should do loads of good as well. The horseradish and cayenne in it especially. I crave these spicey foods when my sinuses flare up, always helps. If the pressure is really bad, jump in the shower and run hot water on your face, then go lie down with an ice pack. The hot/cold seems to release the pressure for me. Just some things I've learned over the years. Hope it helps! Guest guest
Also, if you've never heard of or tried a neti pot they're great for sinusitis once you can get over what it is you actually have to do with it! The pots themselves look like little genie bottles with a spout on one end. You fill it with 8 oz. of distilled water that's warmed to about body temperature and you mix in 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt until it's diluted. Then you tip your head over the sink and pour the whole thing through one nostril and let it drain out the other. Then you repeat on the opposite side. It's said that doing this practice daily cures over 80% of all chronic sinusitis sufferers who try it. I know that I feel better when I do it. If you go to google and search on 'neti pot' you'll find a lot more information. Good luck!
