Guest guest Posted September 14, 2002 Report Share Posted September 14, 2002 Heather, I got into this late, but if you need to increase appetite in a child, Fenugreek seeds and their tea are GREAT for this. What you can do is make a tea of the seeds, and then take the seeds and mix well with honey and get the child to eat them, if possible, and this will increase appetite. If the child does not like it this way you perhaps can mix with other favorites. Except sugar, which increases the deficiency of Folic acid --a b-vitamin --which when too low will cause loss of appetite.
