I live in Nassau County on Long Island, NY and I was so relieved that at least they haven't sprayed in Nassau, even though it just infuriates me when i think about it no matter the whereabouts. Last night the news told me that now they are spraying a few towns over and I am so afraid that nearer to me will be next. What can I do to stop this? How can they just do this without asking the people who live where the mosquitoes are? This spray is so much worse than mosquitoes, I won't even begin about the health and environmental problems. Oh yeah, I think they said a 70-something old man around here got the west-nile virus, which is probably what caused them to begin spraying.
