It was checked at the time as there was a corncern about the possibility of DVT. However it come back clear and i just got on with it. On the front of my leg where the bruising is still slightly present it fells hard, the leg isn't sore and doesn't cause any problem, from time to time i use Aloe vera Heat lotion in the hope of getting rid of the bruising once and for all, but I was wondering if Arnica might be better. Guest guest
Hi Irene, You can apply lavender oil neat if you wish or you can put 3 drops into a teaspoon of carrier oil and apply it. If this bruise is old then there is no need to worry about the blood clotting as it has done that already a while back. What is happening is it is taking a while for this old dead blood to break down. This is normal and will pose no problem. Sometimes when there is quite a bit of blood under the skin it takes a while for it to dissipate and break down. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Thank replied to my emails, I do believe I am starting to see a difference already. I carried on with the Heat Lotion until yesterday. I finally had time to pop down to the local Health Store yesterday and I got Arnica 30c, Lavender EO and Comfrey Oil. It could be my imagination but I am sure it is making a difffernce. A lot of the swelling has gone and the hard areas are less than before. Burising is fading and there is what looks like damaged viens making an appearence at the surface of the skin, which has to be good right, better out as in :-) Thanks irene
