Most of the time when kids are craving dirt, chewing on things, and similar

behaviors, it comes down to a simple mineral deficiency. I've seen this

turned around many times, by adding minerals to the diet. This can be done

with a powder mineral supplement, but generally i like using food with kids.

Spinach (everyone's favorite) is especially good. Sunflower seeds are also

great, because they have zinc. Mashing sunflower seeds into a pudding or

bread dough has worked wonders for some of my friends.
