Occasionally she would pop a disc with extremely painful results. She said the only thing that would bring the pain down to a level that was bearable was that magnet. It did not completely relieve it but did make it bearable. Such a magnet should not be placed over the heart or used by persons with pacemakers or other electrical implants. Its field is expected to penetrate 5 to 6 inches into the body and will cost about $40.00. It will last a century or more. It will work on most any pain.
