Bra?

The only problem women have with wearing of bras is the fact that they tend to not allow movement of lymph from the breast tissue because the strap going around the back restricts this flow. Regular massage of the breast tissue and not wearing bras to bed will allow for the movement of lymph from the breast tissue. Of course, not wearing a bra is best yet, but it is a personal choice.

[herbal remedies] Bra?

Hey, I saw something about bras in my messages today. Is there something wrong with wearing one? Doodles

I hope this post does not offend any members from other countries who are far more modest than we Americans. About two years ago, I called Ian and told him I'd like to know how to get rid of the breast lumps that were plaguing me. Among the things he told me to do is to quit wearing a bra... Actually, he told me to lose the bra and run around the cow pasture. I live in the country,in a cow pasture, and I doubt the cows are going to complain if I don't wear a bra. I only wear it to town or church. I also drink fennel tea--and if the need ever arises I will make some pokeroot tincture. Yes there are massage exercises, but they are SO tiring to do, and I simply got bored doing that.

I was given a mini trampoline by a friend, and I do have a body brush and dry brush my whole body towards the heart...I understand all of the above helps. There are other herbs that help...........as I learn what they are I add them to my list, and switch off with fennel. I don't care to take the same herb very long, just in case it decides to get bored with helping me. Yes, Doc Ian is very interesting and has wonderful ideas to help when you call him. Do your homework like I did. I didn't expect someone to hand me all the information. I took what I could get and studied each herbs properties to find out what will help the lymph system. Remember, I'm on absolutely NO medication at age 51, and when I do take herbs, I don't take more than two at a time, unless its an antibiotic tea or detox tea. Why?? Just a gut feeling, thats all. Even if I'm wrong, I'm still safe that way.

Thank you. I can't do without, I'll just say I am doing a public service by wearing it. So where are these lymph glands located? (I'm really pretty new to the alternative way of things.) Thanks again. Doodles Donald Eitner wrote:

I would still suggest to wear a bra whilst playing sports as once the muscle tissue above the breast is torn then it is torn for good. good for lowering the centre of gravity but quiet upsetting to a lot of woman. A good sports bra is a must for protecting these muscle's and fibres. But I am a guy so make of it as you will.

Dear Sara,

You could buy a top which is generally used for aerobics. They are really

tight, mean to keep your breasts still while exercising. They are a

different shape than bras and I think more comfortable to wear. I wear one

for exercising, and then don't have to wear a bra (normally wear DD cup, so

I normally do need a bra) and don't feel any discomfort.

Sara,

Let me tell you how it went for me. First off I started off large. I found this awful bra that opened so I could nurse. (For the uninformed the larger you are the more limited the choce of styles.) I nursed for 11 months. I wore a bra like "normal" and mine uhh... streched anyway. I have been told it is cause if "bad" genetics, but I have also been told that I may have not been taking enough antioxidents and that help keeps the skin in better condition(?).

Zinc, Biotin and vitamins A, C, D, E, and B-complex are good skin

conditioning supplements.

ROTFL! Elaine you're so funny hehe! Let's face it - gravity gets every one of us, not to mention if you have a baby. I wear or don't wear according to my own comfort level and if someone doesn't like it, they shouldn't be oogling my breasts anyways! LOLOLOL! BTW a raw cabbage leaf tucked in your bra will help dry up milk ;-)

Lymph glands are located all over the place. Some are located in the breats.

Locations vary with different people. They are not true glands -- i'm not

sure why people use that word. Glands produce something. Lymph nodes don't.

Lymph is the body's sewage collection system. It does not have its own

circulation, and so depends on muscle movement to get rid of waste. That's

one of the reasons why exercise is so important in preventing or moderating so

many different conditions. Without exercise, waste material builds up in the

lymph vessels and glands, eventually backing up into vital organs.

When lymphatic wastes build up in any particular part of the body, cancer is

possible. There have been a few studies done which show that constantly

wearing bras increases the rate of breast cancer.

Not sure what you mean by " doing a public service " wearing a bra. These days,

it is acceptable to go out in public wearing clothing designs from before

1910, when bras first started being used. Those designs allow a woman to be

modest without wearing a bra. Even in hot weather, there are such designs,

many of them from the Middle East. It is surprising how comfortable a person

can be in a " tent " dress.

Michael,

If doodle bug is a DDD I can appreciate that she wants the support for her back... those of us who are rather well indowed know that that's alot of weight and can give a person a backache... Suzi

Thank you for the additional info on the lymph nodes. Micheal at this point in life I am a DDD (the older I get the bigger I get). Unleashed they are much closer to my belly button than I would like to admit. I have been wearing a "sports top" when I am at home, which is most of the time since I'm not working much. I am only wearing a traditional bra when I go to the store or church. I know I'm not doing real great on the excersice yet, but I am a work in progress.
