Guest guest
Forgot about fishing lures. I'm not very good at fishing, so gave up a long time ago. I've seen a few doodlebugs. They can get pretty complicated, much more so than a divining rod. Many of them had stickplates. These are hard rubber pieces on top that are rubbed with the fingers. It was said that when the fingers stuck to the rubber, you'd found something. Some of these were used for medical diagnosis, particularly the ones made by Galen Hieronymous. One guy opened one up for me back in 1987. It was really strange inside. There were a bunch of wires which all ended at a little picture of a skull that had been carved out of crystal. One time i heard a lecture by one of the builders of these things. He said, " we are approaching an age when the machine and its operator will be one.
