Over 500 species of insects, mites and spiders are used as medicine to cure common ailments to complicated ailments in Chhattisgarh from time immemorial.

We use a lot of animals in chinese medicine as well.

worms, scorpions, centipedes, turtles, praying mantis

egg cases, gecko, and cicada skins are very common

ingredients.
