Please forgive me for freaking out, but I do not want someones life in danger because they disregard the botanical name and medicinal properties. This is why its so dangerous for people who are not careful, to Please don't take it that the Melia Azadirachta is the correct tree for what I just posted. I noticed on one website that this is even listed on the web as being the same thing as the correct tree. Its not the same. The Azadirachta indica has edible fruit. The Melia azadirachta (also called Chinaberry here in Florida--it grows everywhere)is not edible--only birds eat the fruit of it. Neem, the one I just posted about is Azadirachta Indica..... the other tree you posted the link for( I am absolutely sure you're not aware of this) is the Chinaberry tree- and it is poison--at least to someone who does not know how to use it. I'm quite knowlegable, but even I haven't gotten that far in my study-because its one of the VERY toxic trees. Do a search of the Azadirachta indica and you will find plenty of information on the proper tree. I could give you a link to find the seeds to grow your own plant, however they also sell products too, and that is not allowed to be posted here...so please look on google.com for Neemtreefarms and you will find it. My worst fear in spreading news of Neem is that people will mistake it for the wrong tree. I am marking my own trees with permanent bands that will forever reveal the medicinal properties and proper botanical name for the trees, never to be mistaken for the local Chinaberry trees. I've brought this up in herbal circles before, but I don't believe others feel the need to protect the public from a possible mistake. I do. The last thing we need is for someone to die from injesting Melia azadirachta, and then it being blamed on Azadirachta indica. Didn't know Neem was such a wonderful, multi-use medicinal plant. My only experience with it is in a botanical Neem shampoo (that does great btw).
