Guest guest
I found this Herbs tat work to heal arthritis include feverfew, meadowsweet, celery seed and white willow. They can be taken internally, or used externally, as required. Bladderwrack capsules, tablets or powder used regularly may prevent the progress of the disease. Dandelion root and horsetail tea or tincture is recommended for degenerative arthritis. For inflamed hand joints, take a decoction or tincture of devil's claw. Siberian ginseng is beneficial for rheumatoid arthritis. In aromatherapy I found this: Use juniper oil in the bath or in a massage oil blend. It is stimulating and anti-rheumatic. Lemon and Cypres oil are detoxifying and can be used in the bath and in massage to help the body eliminate poisons. Chamomile, lavender and rosemary are anti-inflammatory and pain relieving, use in local massage or compresses. Black pepper, eucalyptus, marjoram, and benzoin will improve the circulation in the area and reduce stiffness. In Homeopathy I found this: Bryonia is useful for arthritis where stitching pains occur in swollen pale or red joints. Pulsatilla when pain moves fro one joint to another. Apis for hot stinging pain. Vitamins Vitamin A , C, and E plus selenium. Cod liver oil and evening primrose oil capsules. Copper bracelets may help relieve the symptoms. Guest guest
Welcome Martin! I can tell you that MSM helps - it has done wonders for my father - even improved his high blood pressure... He takes it every day!. I have a bit of artho in my knee that acts up now and then (along with a torn miniscus)... it works on for it!. Also, you might try the Deep tissue oil in the files.... it relieves pain too. Apple Cider Vinegar is good for artho.... Soak it every day for at least 20 minutes... and/or you can drink it... Take equal parts of acv and honey (locally purchased honey is better) - dilute it with some water and ice, and drink it every day... Many years ago when I had it starting in my knuckles I started doing this (both ways) and after about 1-2 months I realized the pain was gone and I could pick up a coffee cup.. Guest guest
I can vouch for MSM as well. My brother-in-law was considering back surgery and I convinced him to give MSM a try - that was five years ago and his back is great .He rarely has a problem and when he does it only lasts for a couple of hours . Before taking MSM the doctor had my BIL on really strong pain killers ... Take care Glenda - " Suzanne Nottmeier " <suziesgoats <herbal remedies > Monday, August 05, 2002 4:00 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Arthitis > > Welcome Martin! > I can tell you that MSM helps - it has done wonders for my father - even improved his high blood pressure...
