Guest guest
Hi There I picked up a really good book yesterday, called Herbal Remedies by Hershoff, ND and Rotelli, ND. It stated that pesticides carry through non organic alcohols used for tincturing, especially the corn based ones. I was wondering if anyone had experience with organic grape alcohol, which is supposed to be hypo-allergenic. Where do you get it, and what is a reasonable cost? I found a price on the net for one ounce: $11.99. What does everyone think? Thank you Skippy
Guest guest
Not that I don't believe in organics and all, but IMO $11.99 for an ounce of *anything* is absolutely absurd. For twelve bucks an ounce, it better be the blood of an honest-to-gods dragon! A more reasonable alternative might be to make your own alcohol, using organic...well, anything. Grain, apple juice, etc. $00.02 --ST >Hi There > I picked up a really good book yesterday, called Herbal Remedies by Hershoff, ND and Rotelli, ND.
