Guest guest
Yes. The quantity one would have is minimal -- eating just one small piece at a time is the way to go. I just buy it at Alfalfa's or Wild Oats. Less than 1/4 pound will last me several months, but that's because i rarely have digestive problems anyway. Guest guest
By the way... Years ago I managed to control my IBS stomach troubles largely by discovering what foods really gave me the cramps, which were truly awful, very painful. I haven't had them for years, since I started quitting eating certain foods one at a time to find out which food was causing the trouble. For me the culprits were red wine (although not white wine too, thank the Lord) and orange juice. Incidentally, I tried red wine again several years ago, thinking it had all been a stress related problem and I could enjoy a nice drop of Chateau Neuf, but sure enough, there was that cramp again. I miss the red wine, but I don't miss that stomach pain at all. Good luck! Michael
