Guest guest
To Michael and foes, It is quite alarming to me to see the amount of, hhhmmmm, should I say "intolerance" that exists in this world. It is too bad that it should carry over into such a wonderful idea as a list for people to exchange ideas, help one another, and to share what works with what doesn't. This, however, is where human nature is at this point in man's evolution. I am not perfect. I do, however, try to be very tolerant of others as no one person is exactly like me. Every man, woman, and child on the face of this planet has their own path they must walk and not two will ever be the same. I can understand Doc bouncing folks for not following the rules and I can forgive him for some of his less than tolerant statements about others, as it is his list and I am just a guest on it. I can also forgive the rest of you for your intolerant remarks, as I do tend to make some myself at times. I guess what I am trying to say is that whoever is perfect, please raise your hands and the rest of us will leave you to enjoy what is left of your intolerance towards those of us who have yet to reach "Christhood". Doc, I do hope that you will forgive my ranting here. I do apologize for stepping on toes, never was nor will be my intentions. Michael, it is your decision whether or not you wish to leave this list. I for one, find your more helpful comments quite stimulating and thoughtful. It would be a shame to see you leave over such a petty trifle (my opinion of this). - Michael Riversong herbal remedies Tuesday, July 09, 2002 8:54 AM Re: [herbal remedies] Raw Eggs - Michael If it becomes clear that the majority of this list wants me gone, i willleave. But think about this -- i wrote ONE really lousy post, and have admitted thatit was lousy. Have any of my other posts on this list ever helped anyone? Ifso, maybe that should carry some weight. It is interesting how in so manygroups anything negative that happens grossly overwhelms the positive in mostpeople's minds. Guest guest
Dear Michael, You can definitely count on my vote as "For" you staying. I trust that you'll work your difficulties out ;o) and you can call me if you need a hand in doing so. Upsets and Misemotion can be contagious, so I think it would just be best if everyone else ended off on the topic and just give you a chance to get your head together so to speak. Guest guest
MIchael, Please stay. I kind of agreed with your post (I probably would not eat raw eggs). The only time I saw anyone doing that was in the musical Caberet where she has to down 2 raw eggs with some Worstershire Sauce or something. Ugg!. Your contributions are very valuable to this group. Guest guest
Dear Michael, A very good man once said something to the effect that: what matters is that you correct/own up to your errors. Guest guest
Michael, I'm not a very active participant on this list but I read every single message and I've learned tons from everybody here, you included. Of course you should stay. We've all got our weird things. However, I must say, more than the raw eggs, which I do eat as well, your comments on cross-dressers bothered me. My opinion, and this is just my opinion, is that things like this don't need to be said to a group of almost 1000 people. I'd be willing to bet my bottom dollar that amongst that many people we've got more than one member who is or has been a cross-dresser. I suppose it's your right not to like people for whatever reasons you choose but whether it's the clothes, the skin-color, the religion, or the sexual preference, judging a soul by what you can see from the outside just isn't worth the negativity it produces. When I was doing my yoga teacher training my teacher told me to remember that each person we approach is a sacred soul. Ain't that the truth?! No matter what the package. I forget sometimes but my goal is to eventually have it running through my head like a mantra so that I always treat everybody with love and respect... no matter what! Peace, Ann --- Michael Riversong <rivedu wrote: > If it becomes clear that the majority of this list wants me gone, i will > leave. > > But think about this -- i wrote ONE really lousy post, and have admitted > that > it was lousy.
