Fungus is generally white, though it can cause lines in nails. From an alternative health site:

Re: [gallstones] garlic's benefits...

Vince,

I'm a true believer in the health benefits of raw garlic. It has cleared up

a fingernail fungus that I had for 20-something years. Also, my blood

pressure was borderline, but after going on raw garlic in my fresh

carrot/apple/celery juice, my blood pressure returned to normal. It's

terribly wonderful stuff! If you ever get and read <censored> book

entitled <censored> she has a section in there about

how good garlic is for the gut and kills many parasites. It's a wonderful

natural antibiotic. I'm convinced that it helped keep me from going to the

doctor in the winter when I had a bad respiratory infection, along with

hissop (oregano). Garlic is a very potent decongestant, too!

I was not the writer of the above lines.

Garlic doesn't get the publicity it should because - it's too cheap! No one can make money on it unless they claim their preparation is "better" - and it isn't. Nature's wrapper beats any manufacturer's wrapper everytime.

Hi:

Should've mentioned in my prior post that fungus not only creates lines in fingernails, but can cause the nail to split along those lines. My dad had this problem all his adult life. My brother did too, but recently went the MD prescription cure route. It did cure the nail fungus, but like I've mentioned previously, it is a real liver killer too. By the way, he learned of this MD cure from his son who also had this problem. So, that's 3 direct generations with fingernail fungus. This is not hereditory, it's passed along by using the same facilities. I've not had fingernail problems, just toenail problems.

<<Some of my clients have done well using tea tree oil,

cut 50/50 with olive oil, painted on the cuticles and

nails to get rid of nail fungus.>>

I've heard that works good for the surface problem, but it doesn't get the source - the fungus in the blood. It will keep popping out somewhere unless it is killed in the blood.

I was wondering if you could help me, help a friend. She wrote me,

I, too, have searched, and I can't find a thing. Can you help?

Thank you,

Lynques

Some of my clients have done well using tea tree oil,

cut 50/50 with olive oil, painted on the cuticles and

nails to get rid of nail fungus.
