Guest guest
Greetings all, I hope no one minds me just jumping in. I just joined tonight rather out of desperation and was hoping someone might be able to help me. I have suffered from depression for pretty much all of my life...since I was 10 and I am now nearly 26. Aside from the depression, I have very bad mood swings. In a single day I can go from quiet and peaceful, to extremely agitated, angry, to crying...you get the picture. I am very tired of feeling this way. I tried to seek " professional " help (please note that term is used *very* loosely) and can find literally no one to help me because I am neither insured or qualified to receive state assitance. I spent months calling around, website searching, all to be told that all money (over $100 a pop) was due at time of service, yadda yadda. I was on zoloft for a short while, but felt it increased my agrivation so I stopped taking it after 6 months. I also tried St. Johns wort, as I heard that was a natural remedy, but again that really didn't help much. I have been interested in natural healing for some time now, but am now taking that interest seriously and am commiting myself to it's study. I am taking my health into my own hands, and need some thoughts or advice on how to become a bit more mentally stable/less depressed. Thanks in advance. Kindly, Jen
Guest guest
Depression: Give yourself permission to think new thoughts about old problems, let go of any junk from your past you can't fix. It is rare that people that hurt you will apologise. Forgive, not for others but for yourself. Passionflower tincture may help you get over highly aggitated times. Realize that what you were is not what you are and also what you will be in the future. Concentrate on happiness and be aware that you are happy. Once you attain this you can get back to this state more often. These are just a few ideas. Roxanne Roxanne J.
