Hello Dr.,

I have joint pain & an especially painfull rotator cup. I'm active &

sometimes after a good workout I can barely lift my right arm over

my head. Is there anything that can be taken for this? Is the

condition of my rotator cup curable? I recently finished a year of

mild chemo & was told it could affect the joints. I was told after 6

months it should be completely out of my system, but I'm concerned

this may be permanent.

Thanks.

You are fortunate. The right rotator cuff muscle is directly connected to the

liver. This is a very good diagnostic trick, which gives an early indication

before the trouble gets serious. Treating the muscle with the usual liniments

such as Tiger Balm will of course relieve some of the immediate pain. But now

you need to treat the liver.

I have found the best liver medicines are these:

Vitamin A (10,000 iu a day is sufficient)

Oregon Grape tea or tincture

Star Anise -- as an ingredient in a general tincture

Milk Thistle, which usually works well in capsule form

Burdock Root -- as an ingredient in a general tincture

There are several more but as you shop and do research you will find what's

best for you. Most of the liver herbs, in my experience, have no unpleasant

effects except for their horrible taste. That bitterness is characteristic of

many liver remedies, and seems to be an indicator in itself. If you start

craving bitter tastes, that's a sign of progress right there.

Chemotherapy puts tremendous stress on the liver, as that's the organ assigned

to the difficult task of identifying and removing poisons.

Dear RC,

I'd need a lot more data than you've given, in order to help you head towards a permanent healing. What were you taking the "mild" chemo for??? What other conditions do you have happening in your body??? I'm a thinkin' you've got more going on than just a painfull rotator cup. I wouldn't worry too much about the condition being "permanent". In my books, there are no diseases which can not be cured.

Love,
