Guest guest
I do not know the extent of your mother's wound. If it is not healing or getting worse, then I would suggest Home Health. This requires a physician's order. If she has Medicare, costs will be covered. Wounds can go down to the muscles, possibly requiring surgery and/or a lengthy healing time sometime years. Do you know the reason for not wanting to get better? HTH Denise > > Can anyone recommend anything I can do or make to put on her sore to > help it stop hurting her and make it go away? Guest guest
Yes, if you don't mind something that was made for horses... I use this myself and find it is quite miraculous. Do a search on line for The Natural Pet Vet... (think it's www.naturalpetvet.com). He has something called Marigold pocket healer... made from marigold (calendula) flowers. It's amazing. I've used it on all kinds of things for myself (and for my horse) and it's worked miracles every time. Keria --On Saturday, November 11, 2006 3:17 PM +0000 smidgets_5 <smidgets wrote: > > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Michele - I saw in your post to my reply to you that your mother does not have Medicare and Home Health is not an option for you. Please check your local paper - there are a lot of qualified home health care givers that work for themselves and do not charge the fees a Home Health Care Company does. As with anyone else coming into your home - check out their credentials. Also - you mentioned the possibility of shingles. Shingles generally appear on the back and look very similar to diaper rash. From your comments, I do not believe this is what your mother has either. Let us know what you find out from her Doctor when you see him this week.
