Noni is one amonth the top ten of more than 300 alternative therapies

for cancer. Check www.noniassociation.net you will find more details about

noni and cancer. Along wioth noni, also take Goji Berry juice. It will help

a lot and control the growth of cancer. It will help against the side

effects of chemo therapy.

All the best.

You might want to try " N-Acetyl Cysteine " . Be sure that you check to be

sure that any of the drugs that he is taking does not have a negative

interaction with his traditional meds. N-Acetyl Cysteine is sometimes given

with lung transplants.

I have ILD and I heard about it on the COPD-Board

http://copd-support1.com/

Lots of good information in this group.

I was on oxygen 24/7 a year ago and now only use it at night. For me one of

the most important thing I had to learn is not to listen to the dire

messages that pulmonary doctors give out. They tell you that you will never

get " better " and that you can only work to maintain this level. I was a non

smoker but they even tell smokers that their lungs will get " better " if they

quit smoking and within years they can catch up to non smokers.

The other thing that I found was very important for me was to eliminate all

simple sugars and limit complex carbohydrates to a respectable level and eat

with a little protein if possible. Carbs generate a lot of carbon dioxide

that rob the blood of oxygen and that makes you short of breath.

My daughter's father in law started through this last year and is coming

along quite well but his major issue to tackle was wanting to eat at all and

he was a string bean to begin with.

Keep a positive outlook and if he is willing learn to do the breathing

exercises that I have on my website. Lots of men on the forum above and

they all attest to how essential breathing exercises are. Don't start any

of the exercises until the doctor gives the go ahead and if they suggest

rehabilitation, do it. That was a real turning point for me. When I

entered I could only walk about 250 feet in ten minutes with full oxygen

support. When I finished, I could walk three times that far without oxygen

and it was only 6 weeks long. Some of the people in the group above have

had differing types of lung disease for over 20 years and are still living

good lives, albeit a little slower.

Best of luck, Vivian

Hi! May I make a suggestion? I sell a great product that contains

grapeseed extract, pine bark extract, and red wine extract (together

called OPC's) These are the some of the most potent antioxidants out

there and many have had great results using them! I sell this product

to anyone that is breathing but it is especially helpful for anyone

suffering anything from seasonal allergies to immune deficiency

disorders (MS for example). It is not a cure all but it certainly can

help your husband fight his battle-- especially since his immune system

is weak from his treatment -- and help his body put the cancer back into

regression. If you are interested you may contact me at this email

address: smwensel with any questions and I could direct

you to my website so you may take a look at the product. I would like

your permission first as I myself hate unwarranted solicitation.

I hope all goes well for you and your husband!

Sincerely,

Shannon

Try Tahitian Noni Juice,it has been known to not only boost the

imune system but actually slow growth of tumors, check out

tni.com/rhutchons,

also if you google dr neil soloman or noni for cancer you'll get a

lot of information. Tahitian noni is an all natural dietary

supplement, and it makes no medical claims, even though it is listed

in the 2003, 2005 and 2007 medical pdr for non perscription drugs

and dietary supplements. However I know a couple of friends who

swear it made their tumors completeley disappear, one who said chemo

was a breeze with the boost they got in their imune system from the

juice, and here we gave it to our dog who was riddled with tumors

and we actually saw a tumor disappear within weeks! I swear by it

for everything for asthma to allergies, headaches to menstral

cramps, cuts scrapes and even acne. I love my juice! Hope it helps

you too! Kathy a noni mom in MI

Hi Tinkerpie, what is your name?

The reason chemotherapy is so deadly, is that it

kills ALL fast-growing cells, including the cells in

the mucous membranes of the digestive system.

So just when you really need to keep your strength

up, you cannot absorb food properly.

So you need foods that are absorbed without

much work by the body.

Live juices are one of the best things to do.

Someone just posted a link to Gerson.

Indeed!

Important: get a certain kind of juicer that

does NOT work by spinning things outwards.

Another food that many Cancer patients have

used with great success while undergoing chemo

etc is BlueGreen Algae.

The wild stuff from Upper Klamath Lake.

It may be the most complete food in the world,

in supplement form. A little bit goes a long way.

Ask me for details off list. (ienvan)

Or look into Spirulina, a tamer and less potent

cousin.

Other Cancer patients swear by Noni juice or

the Aloe Vera-based Ambrotose to keep them

going.

Ask for Guidance and Follow your intuition.

In Traditional Chinese medicine the lungs are

said to be the partner meridian of the large

intestine. ( I know little about TCM, but that

one comes up amazingly often)

So you want to look into herbs that support

both. Slippery Elm is healing and soothing to the

mucous membranes, and it is cheap and readily

available.

It is part of the Essiac formula.

Una de Gato is great for both lungs and large

intestines, and has been used as treatment for

inoperable brain tumors by some doctors.

I'll have to check to see if it can be used in

conjunction with chemo, but it would be great

afterwards for sure.

Sangre de Drago is the ultimate healing herb

and also has some cancer fighting properties.

You are not helpless, and good onya for taking

control!

PS One more thing:

TAP on it. Emotional Freedom Technique will

help to support anything else you do.

Best of all, it is quite literally at your fingertips

and you can learn it for free.
