Guest guest
I have been on a mostly vegetarian diet for years now... and for the first 10 years I have not even caught a cold. Last February I was invited to an exclusive restaurant (Waikiki), had some greens (without any dressing) and a small piece of fish. The same evening I had a sore throat that developed into very bad influenza (fever, joint pain, painful coughing) and even though I took excellent remedies (like golden seal, echinacea, astragalus, ginger, etc.) gargled with salt water and sprayed apple cider vinegar into my throat, I was sick for months... the fever left after about 3 weeks, but the coughing and pains continued. It may have been stupid of me, but 2 weeks ago I accepted an invitation again to the only exclusive restaurant on Molokai, had a small piece of fish without any oil, sauce, etc. and again I got a sore throat and the same symptoms (but not a fever) as in February. I am treating myself with the same remedies. I believe that it is either the fish (fresh caught in Hawaii) or some person, who had " dirty " hands or a cold, etc... Thank you for any comments.
