Guest guest
I am going to be patient as some of you had recommended on if (or even when) I will have some sort of contact with my father who passed away. I'm not a psychic or anything but I am a very positive person who will at least hope for that chance someday. I do have an interesting story I'd like to share about an experience I had about 14 years ago: My grandfather passed away from cancer when I was five years old. I really don't remember him very well as I was so young. He passed away in December of 1977. Fast forward to 1992. My grandmother had to sell her house and move into an assisted apartment complex as she was in a wheelchair and could no longer get around her house. I was in town visiting and staying at her apartment in the spare room. I had this dream that I was standing in the hallway of her house and looking at my grandpa while he was shaving in the bathroom. He turned to me and said jokingly, " Here try this. " It was his electric razor and he then pretended to " shave my face. " LOL! He patted his tummy, giggled and said, " I've put a little weight on up in Heaven. " From what I was told, my grandfather was also quite the handyman and woodworker. He then said, " Look at my hands...they're dirty...I've been working up in Heaven too. " He then went to touch my cheek (I'm assuming he had varnish on his hands.) I awoke to me touching my cheek to see if I had varnish on it although nothing was there.) I just thought this was so odd...that I had a conversation with him and yet hardly remembered him. I waited awhile before I told my grandmother as I didn't want to scare her. I eventually told her and she was overjoyed and almost in tears. She passed away not long after that. I'd love to tell my mom (and maybe I did already) this story as it was her father. She lost him at about the same age as I am right now....she was also very close to him. So I truly believe that if you can be patient...contact may just happen. I know I'll be waiting! ~Diane
