I always thought they were the same substance but with different names but as active ingredients they have different CAS numbers and the HSE in the UK won't allow the inclusion of Neem as an active ingredient, only as a fragrance, whilst they will allow Margosa as an active ingredient. If they are the same I don't understand why. With different CAS numbers I can only assume that they are not the same but I can find no supporting evidence of this. Can anyone help. The reason is I have a friend who is trying to make a horse product to control pests and she asked me as I run the following website:- www.luminescents.co.uk and I am now at a loss.
