Herbal Remedies for Excema?

Hello All,

I'm new to the group and looking forward to learning a lot more about

alternative healing. I was hoping I get could get some advice on

herbal remedies for excema. I'm not 100% sure that this is what I

have, but through a few months of " process of elimination " , I'm left

with excema. It certainly fits (except the part where the outbreaks

seem linked to my hormones. Can't quite figure that one out. It's

also not itchy, really.)

My dermatologist prescribed Elidel - but that stuff supresses your

immune system and I WILL NOT use it. That's just not a good way to

heal anything, in my opinion. Can anyone recommend herbal remedies or

supplements that will help relieve excema?

Thanks!

~Regina

If it truly is excema, you will likely need to take a look at what's

happening in your bowels since your skin is a reflection of this.

Do you have constipation, diarhea or other problems like yeast?

I also struggled with minor bouts of excema for most of my life and

now my bowels are healed. Even then brown ring around the iris of

my eye is shrinking (this represents the intestines in iridology).

Supressing your immune system is not the answer! Are you around

chlorine a lot? Have been tested for food allergies? Do you use

gloves if you handle any type of toxic cleaner?

Welcome to the group! You'll learn a lot here.

Welcome Regina,

It is great to see people doing their due diligence

instead of blindly following Doctor's orders!

I won't go into specifics here, just share some

general principles, OK?

Eczema has to be treated from the inside out,

but while you are working from the inside, you may

want to use a topical salve to relieve symptoms.

A friend of mine makes a cheap, effective healing

salve based on fresh organic herbs and infused with

Reiki energy. It is so safe you could put it on your

bread and eat it. I use it as a lip balm.

It has received rave reviews from eczema sufferers.

It has worked for children for whom nothing else worked.

We call it MMO, short for " Magda's Magic Ointment " .

Drumroll please:

(no, I don't get a commission on this one)

The key to ANY skin condition, and to any auto-immune

condition, is to make sure digestion is complete, clear

and activate the liver, and cleanse and heal the intestinal

tract. It all goes together.

Allergies and food sensitivities are often a factor.

Have you ever tried keeping a food diary?

It is a bit of detective work, but well worth it if

you are looking for the root cause of your condition.

Digestive enzymes taken with and in between meals

can be a huge help.

http://enzymestuff.com is a non-commercial website

about enzymes.

There are many good enzymes, fiber products and

liver herbs on the market.

Dr John Adamo describes a boy with psoriasis who

got total relief from drinking a teaspoon of slippery

elm (Ulmus Fulva) daily.

Some of us on this list have our pet remedies

that we have a vested interest in.

Of course we all think our stuff is best, :).

The reality is that different products work

for different people and finances can play

a role too.

Take a look at people's signature files, visit

some websites, contact them off list, and see if

anything resonates with you.

Please keep us posted about your process!

Best wishes,

Hi Regina,

We have had great response with " 2nd Aid " an all natural herbal remedy.

So many people say they can't live with out it, http://lesaric.com

It has also helped to clear up many skin conditions including fungus on

toes and feet. :)

Hope this helps...

Thanks to everyone who responded! I've gotten a lot of great advice!

I'm going to do some research and put some of the advice into practice.

I'll let you know how things work out!

Thanks again! It's greatly appreciated.
