I highly recommend it! Depression comes in many forms and the causes are not always readily recognized. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) & the milder form of it called " The Winter Blues " can be easily remedied if recognized by those affected. The problem is the shortened days of winter. Some people need more daylight than others. As the days of winter shorten depression begins to set in leading to not wanting to get out of bed, lethargy and wanting to be left alone. Fight it! Using Full spectrum lighting, exercising and going to bed earlier are just a couple of ways to combat this recurring problem. Vitamin D is important and gained from sunshine. Those who spend the long hot days of summer outside tend to have greater stores of Vitamin D for the winter. Getting the sleep you need, by going to bed shortly after the sun helps as well. ~~~~~~~~ Reprinted with permission from www.ElizaHints.com <http://www.elizahints.com/> Note: Eliza puts out a great natural health newsletter each month…you can at her site, as well as purchase many vitamins and supplements she mentions in her articles there.
