Hi,

I'm a firefighter/paramedic and have been for 6 yrs.I can only type

in a medical signs and symptoms format so please bear with me.

The pt is my wife.

Pt is 5'7 " (aprox 67 " ) and is aprox. 230-240# or 105- 109 Kg. and a

medium frame.

30 y/o female with an increased peripheral edema & decreased urine

flow.

On set of aprox. 9 yrs (both have progressed over time).

The conditions follow the birth of our first son. Prior to the

pregnancy of our first son she had no med. hx at all. My wife went

into early labor (a week early 39/40 weeks). The ob/gyn wanted to

have my wife not deliver over the weekend ( while he went out of

town)

The Dr. admitted her to the labor and delivery unit and placed her

on Mag. sulfate.

To make a long story short over the course of the next day Sat. she

started seriously dilating and contractions came on heavier. The

Mag. Sulfate was increased to triturated for the contractions

By the time the Dr. arrived Mon. A.M.

I had to spoon-feed my wife her meals. Later found out this is

called Mag. Sulfate Toxicity, with side effects of CHF. Among

others.

We went on to have a set of twins 17 months later.

Now she has very decreased urine out-put despite the amount of oral

fluids.

Also the very noticeable peripheral edema.

Hx: Dx: Hypothyroidisum (Corrected with 6 months of meds.),

Total hysterectomy 3 1/2 yrs ago. and secondary to severe menst.

Cramping (sever adhesions discovered around the intestines and

uterus), pt also presents with diet controlled diabetic

symptoms (never dx as diabetic however).

Rx: none

Allergies to meds: Codeine, Black cohosh

My Questions is as follows:

I know a nephrologist consult should be in order however she wants

to try a natural remedy first.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Ricky,

I don't know if we have any nephrologists in the

group, most of us are just generally into healthy

living with a few tricks up our sleeves.

There is a big difference between just building

health, and treating serious disease.

I sincerely believe that you need to get a proper

diagnosis before we dare speak up on this one.

Sorry!

Has she has her kidney's checked for damage from the toxicity of

that drug. AS far as her OB-GYN, he should be horse whipped for what

he did. If she has kidney damage that can't be healed holistically

then you may have a real problem. If it were me I would have a

kidney check and if that shows no damage then go the holistic route.

No more meds they are toxic anyway. Goodluck. Daphne

Hi Ricky,

I have some ideas for you but rather than copy and paste from my

documents, it would be a lot easier for me to email you them to you

in attachment form. Too much for me to write here. Does her skin

look healthy? Has the skin tone changed at all?

What kind of diet is she on. The standard diabetic diet is very

high in protein which will irritate kidneys.
