Hi,

I have been doing some reading on this subject that was discussed here some

months ago, as I want to start this practice.

Question...

Is the oil to be used cold compressed, or refined?

The site http://oilpulling.com/ starts off by saying to use cold compressed oil,

and then later on, it says to use refined oil.

If someone can give me an answer based on his/her experience, it will be

appreciated.

You can use any oil you desire. It really makes no difference....any nut or

seed oil. Some

people react differently to different oils. The ones suggested by Dr. Karach

are Sesame Oil

or Sunflower. The sesame needs to be untoasted, that is very important.

I have been doing this for about 8 months. I use Organic, expeller pressed

sesame oil.

And I have used Expeller pressed Sunflower.

There are people using, coconut (yum), hemp, walnut, olive and a host of others.

Do not use peanut, it contains mold.

Hope that helps.
