Guest guest
I don't know if this is normal for anyone else. I certainly haven't had any such experience. But it could be a strong detox reaction. What oil are you using and how long are you keeping it in your mouth, and how many days did you do this that you got that reaction? What health problems do you have--like do you normally have sinus trouble? Candida? Samala Renee ---- I have tried oil pulling this past week in the way described in Searches I did on this site. Each time, about 2 to 3 hours later, I Get horrible horribe headaches with much much sinus pressure. My Neck even becomes stiff. I get really really sick feeling. Does Anyone know what in the world is going on??? I never get headaches But these 2 I had after the oil pull put me under to the point I Thought I was going to have to see a doctor! Is this a normal reaction for an oil pull?? Thanks in advance!

I had the headaches too. It's the detoxification process. How is your overall health? The eventual effect of the process is the purification of your blood and the detoxification of body systems. If you've eaten a lot of junk for a long time then you may be experiencing the kill off of candida. I started a candida diet shortly after I started the oil pulling. I've lost 32 pounds in 2 months and am eating like an organic queen! I have had such success with the pulling that I continue to do it 3 times a day because I have a very toxic body that is getting healthier by the minute. I feel it. I can almost breathe regularly now, which I couldn't do 2 months ago. The headaches don't last, but if you go to a doctor he will think you're crazy. I'm head strong and determined, so I just go through the obstacles like a snow plow pushes snow off of the road. I'm not suggesting that you need to be like me, but I would keep going and take something for the headache and then if it doesn't stop then make a decision to do a traditional detox procedure and try the oil pulling again. I'm sure that's the problem, but I'm not a doctor so there you go! Best... Guest guest
Hello from Anne in Conn. I tried Oil-pulling on my own before I even read of it. I tried swishing Oil in my mouth because I had a piece of debris stuck in my gums and I wnated to loosen it up with the Oil. Perhaps the problem you are having is: You are swishing the Oil too vigorously insteaad of lightly swishing in mouth. If too vigorous some of the Oil could back up into the Sinuses.
