Guest guest
Here goes folks. I was watching late night TV and seen her on the Letterman show. Show piqued my interest in the subject enough to compel me to leave it on during his interview with the author. Her name is Riquette Hofstein. I bought her book and analyzed her theory and found that if nothing else I would eliminate the chemicals going on my body. I do not know her, I am not a book distributor, I don't have copies on E-Bay....just wanted to be helpful to the author of that E-mail. So...with no animosity and to clear up any misconceptions I will proceed to share the shampoo and conditioner with all. Scalp Shampoo 1 heaping tablespoon crushed basil leaves (easy to grow, even on patios!) 1 heaping tablespoon lavender flowers ( I use 5 - 10 drops of lavender oil...I like the scent) 1 heaping teaspoon rosemary leaves 3 cups boiling water 1 cup liquid castile soap Boil the herbs in the water for at least 10 minutes (longer if possible). Strain the infusion, then discard the leaves. Allow the water to cool then add it to the castile soap. Label SCALP SHAMPOO and pour in unbreakable bottle. Hair Shampoo 1 heaping tablespoon nettles. 1 heaping tablespoon crushed sage 1 heaping tablespoon chamomile ( I use the tea bags) 3 cups boiling water 1 cup pure castile soap Once again make an infusion by boiling the herbs in the water. Use the same directions as in the scalp shampoo. Each day, use a small amount of scalp shampoo to massage the scalp, especially where the peach fuzz is and you would like hair to grow. Then after rinsing, Use a small amount of hair shampoo and lather into hair and rinse. This is a concentrated formula, a little should go a long way. I used these in conjuction with the vodka, cayenne pepper scalp stimulator, and a couple of other stimulators and one sloughing treatment a week. I was and continue to be very happy with the results. But to write all the formulas would probably not be feasible on here. I wish everyone a nice day and be healthy...anyone in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area...drop me a line. Guest guest
Hi David. I'm not in the Dallas area :-) But I do live just 4 hours south of you in New Braunfels. Does this book contain all hair formulas, or is it formulas for everything like other body products and cleaning products and such, to get chemicals out of our lives? And how long have you been doing these things and have you actually been growing hair where there wasn't any? And did all your other hair formulas come from the same book--the vodka and cayenne type formula? Thanks Renee ---- Here goes folks. I was watching late night TV and seen her on the Letterman show.
