It's very moldy where I live (Vancouver Island) because it is warm

and rains all winter. Great in the summer though! We spent a whole

winter in a moldy house with no problems. A guy who works for some

governemnt agency (I think the Navy?) was trying to develop an air

cleaner and when he came across the one we have, he said that's

exactly what he was trying to design to keep air on the submarines

clean, where of course you don't want toxins like ozone in the air.

He just couldn't get the noise level so quiet.

It's a lot more than just a filtration system (it has 5 filters,

including copper). It's called Air Wellness and certainly lives up

to it's name. My allergy vanished overnight with it. I've seen

people's sinuses clear up within seconds and someone sent me photos

of a dog with a tumor that healed up when they got the unit and

their dog started hanging around beside it all the time. I would

rather think that this is exceptional although people do say pets

tend do tend to like being close to them.

It has various setting so if there is a non-toxic smell you can turn

it higher. It will recognize the difference and will kick into

turbo mode if chemical smells are in the air. This happened the

other day when my husband came home with a new duvet cover. He

opened the package and shook it out and the Air Wellness didn't like

that one bit!

Sorry for the very long reply. I could go on a lot longer though!

Negative ions, American Lung Association, EPA, ozone, etc.
