Felica,

Wow!

Because of Network marketing (which I stunk profusely at incidently) I started

reading other types of materials and listning to tape series that discussed

co-creation of reality along with a lot of other subject matters as well. In

fact, I have read and listened to a an abundance of it, and that is why I was

not in jaw dropping awe of the movie. I didn't say I didn't enjoy it, I didn't

discredit it for anyone else. I merely said it was not new material for me

personally. Is that awful?

My son was totally blown away by it. And I thought to myself, wow, what I

wouldn't have given to have been given that information at 15? PS if I tried to

give him that material he would have tuned me out and not listened to a single

word of it! Cuz like, I am his mother, and well you know...I don't know squat

about the world.

Yes, " pep rallys " (I had to laugh, because my upline use to get so annoyed at me

because that's exactly what I use to call them verbatim!) do gloss over the

material, but usually they will give you a really awesome book or author's name,

and that's when the good stuff comes in. That's what I ended up plugging into

that started me on my own personal journey.

I did learn a lot about products from network markting, but the wonderful thing

is the education I received. It also initiated a frenzy and unsatable thrist

for knowledge in so many different paths, some that I never even knew about! So

although I am a network marketing flunkie, it was the greatest thing I ever

failed at!

And as far as my life being everything I want it to be? I certainly hope not!

I would never want to be stagnated with complaceancy of perfection! If things

were so perfect why would I want to keep wanting to empower myself further and

grow and learn? I always want my life to be a verb, not a noun.

The books, tapes and lectures that I have been exposed to merely put me in a

persoanl position to be very familiar with co-creating your reality. For about

35 years one of my group's favorite phrases has been " if you think your great

you're half way there. " Of course being in our 20's we were usually gossiping

about someone who was in our opinion egotistical. But even in our youth we

somehow recoginzed that what YOU think IS YOUR own personal reality. We just

learned it in a negative context from the shadow side of the lesson!

The secret just was not new material for me. And I think I said for ME when I

wrote my post. It just was not my ah-ha moment about it. I was not

discrediting it, just mentioning that it's not new material as many authors have

discussed it for centuries on many different levels. But it somehow isn't a

household word yet, much like collective conciousness!

I didn't mean to have you believe I was discrediting it. Me in my infinite

truthfullness bluntly just said what I thought. I hope I didn't co-create an

online enemy! (Sorry, I couldn't let that one go by...so me! so corny!)

Much love,

Lorain

So your life is exactly the way you want it to be? Or

you don't believe that you create your own life?

Network MArketing isn't for everyone....I have heard

the meeting pep talks and such, but that was nothing

compared to the movie, the science that explains the

metaphysical part...I'm sorry you were disappointed.

Lorain, well that was an really good explaination!!!!

I just thought you were disappointed, which made me

frown....I actually am pretty successful so this movie

just affirmed what I already know to be true, but the

way it came across to me assured me that I can be more

aware and make every area of my life just as

successful.

I don't make enemies, ever. I love even those who

think I'm way weird....for I once was standing in

their shoes judging someone for something...now I just

don't care because I know who I am and what I'm worth!

lol

The Secret is kind of like the movie What the Bleep Do We Know, in that

those of us who have already been exposed to most of the information were

not " blown away " by it, bet we have enjoyed them both. Not to invalidate it,

it's just that we already had a grasp of what they were saying. The ones

that were truly awakened by these two messages are people that have not been

exposed to these ideas before. And so these two movies are a great product

for introduction and hopefully will lead those people into further research

and introspection.

Felica,

You know without the ability to hear tone it is sooooo easy to get the wrong

idea via email.

The only thing that I did find disappointing, and this was just due to

coincidence, was that I started reading a book about the Emerald Tablet, and I

saw them doing something with an Emerald Tablet, so I thought it was going to be

about that. But it was a superficial dissappointment if you know what I mean.

Thinking your getting a chocolate eclair and it's turns out to be a piece of

chocolate cake. I just was so into the book I was reading that I sort of made a

snap judgement.

But the movie is a good introduction to the subject.

Glad I co-created a friend ha ha ha!

Much love,

Lorain
