Guest guest
Tarot Reading Environment In my opinion, Tarot is a most serious work tool. Thus, I consider Tarot reading a sacred and secret moment, unique to both people involved – professional and consulent. I want to state very clearly that what I'll be presenting here comes from many years of experience with Tarot and works for me. It's not supposed to be a dogmatic prescription to anyone. So, in the basis of any Tarot reading there is my Code of Ethics that you can find at: http://www.mehiel1964.com/Code%20of% 20Ethics.htm and also my Angels, always present in any of my practices. I pay attention to both environments: exterior and my interior. Being so, I meditate and perform Reiki on myself (which I do again in the end of the reading). This is not done in the presence of the consulent. If, for any reason I feel I'm too distress at emotional, physical or spiritual levels, I won't use Tarot. My Tarot table is round, in wood. I sit in one of its side and the person tp whom I'm reading in the opposite side, in front of me. Beyond the most obvious that is to have the cleanest space as possible, I try to make it pleasant, in esthetical and temperature. Over Tarot table is a cloth with Tarot and Kabalah motives. In this same room is the Angels altar. I use to have flowers in the room, too. In this space there aren't electrical devices and I always ask the other person to keep cellular off. It's strictly forbidden to smoke, also. If the person tolerates it, I light an incense stick to her Cabalistic Angels and other to mine. I also light a candle to my Cabalistic Angel and other to my protector Archangel. Thus, the environment is reverent. I'll be in contact with higher levels of conscious, guided by my Guardian Angels to whom I've dedicated all my Tarot decks. I invite them to guide me in Love and Light so I can give that person the answers she needs to her Goodness, to the Goodness of all involved in the issues and to the Highest Goodness. As I've wrote in other article, I always offer a prayer to my Angels and Archangels, before and during the act of shuffling the cards. All my Tarot decks are kept in wonderful bags handmade by a very sensible artisan and I'm the only one who touches the deck, except for the consulent during the reading, when she/he cuts the deck. I try my best to pay attention and concentrate in what the person wants to know. To focus on her question is essential to formulate a question and have a clear answer. Tarot works by going to the deepest of our unconscious. Therefore, being open to the other person it's an extreme important precept. Simultaneously, an openness attitude and respect to Angels helps me to go ahead with a reading that has the potential of being empowering, helpful, and enlightening.
