Guest guest
My heart goes out to you! I will pray that your baby starts to sleep through the night at 12 weeks like my first did. It gets easier and you will get back to your old self again before you know it. I don't have any tricks to share. I had a C section and was in rough shape. And then my Father in law went in the hospital and while visiting him the police phoned because my Mom, who was watching my newborn son was taken away in an ambulence. No stress there! (my son slept through the whole incident) But we made it through all of that. I guess my life was so intense learning about babies and the rest of the craziness that I can't even remember about energy! It was the third one who almost killed me with the lack of energy. I thought I was going to die from no sleep. I'll pray like I said because I have no tips, but I know someone else in the group will! Congratulations to you.........there's nothing like a new baby! Much love, Lorain a_andrews0625 <a_andrews0625 2006/08/17 Thu AM 02:50:22 CDT In need of relief.. i'm a new mother of a 7 week old..i was doing yoga while pregnant..since her birth i have been sleep deprived and so drained mentally and spiritually...can anyone tell me if there is a yoga technique i can do with my infant to regain my energy back? Guest guest
I am a certified teacher in the linrage of Krishnamacharya and you can always do breathing while sitting or lying down, you are meant to do some body movement first and it is better to see someone. Do you hold the baby or is it in a sling? Is standing ok, sitting better or lying down the best? Do some long smooth breaths if nothing else, try to increase the exhale a bit, but not if it is uncomfortable, say two breaths even inhale and exhale and then two with slight increase in exhale, two more a bit more increase in exhale and then come down the same way, by two breaths until it is even again, the inhale is the same length all the way through. Please let me know how this goes if you try it. You can do this a couple of times a day. a_andrews0625 <a_andrews0625 wrote: i'm a new mother of a 7 week old..i was doing yoga while pregnant..since her birth i have been sleep deprived and so drained mentally and spiritually...can anyone tell me if there is a yoga technique i can do with my infant to regain my energy back? Guest guest
I have a questions does anyone know a good natural sleep medication? It's gettng harder and harder to find medication over the counter at the local supermarket shops. I browse around whole food market but there were so many different brands and they all look the same. Thanks. pjb12345uk <pho wrote: --- i dont know about yoga techniques however i would recomend you realy try studying nutrition and applying after such an ordeal and spiritual/reiki healing p In , " a_andrews0625 " <a_andrews0625 wrote: > > i'm a new mother of a 7 week old..i was doing yoga while > pregnant..since her birth i have been sleep deprived and so drained > mentally and spiritually...can anyone tell me if there is a yoga > technique i can do with my infant to regain my energy back? > Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
you're mentally and spiritually drained...because it is what you think if you thinkm positive, then you will be relieved easily. yoga is a mental and physical relaxation even spiritual it will do but there are some recommended exercise for a pregnant woman since you already give birth that's not anymore a big question to stop with your yoga... it has to do with you, yourself... because what you think is is what you make it
Guest guest
Brenda wrote: I have a questions does anyone know a good natural sleep medication? Brenda, what is the pattern of your insomnia? Some people just can't get to sleep, others fall asleep easily but wake up halfway the night. What all have you tried? How peaceful is your bedroom? What sort of bedding do you use? How is your calcium and magnesium level? How much stress are you under? What is your daily routine like? Chamomile, Valerian and Lemon Balm are among the herbs that many people find helpful, but there is a lot more to a good night sleep than finding a magic pill, be it natural or pharmaceutical. Please keep in mind that different things work for different people. And, as always, try tapping on it! Tap on everything! Emotional Freedom Technique has worked for quite a few people. Did you see Melba Dagan's great EFT story about her husband? More on this on http://emofree.com Good luck with it, keep us posted!
