Guest guest
Hi, My daughter is suffering from folliculitis on her legs, due to waxing. They come out as small pimple like outbreaks and leave behind ugly scars. More than anything, it is causing tremendous lack of self respect, She is 24. Can anyone please suggest a way with herbs or oils, or some other ways which can cure this condition? Thanks and regards, Kamalika (India) " Blaming your faults on your nature does not change the nature of your faults. "
Guest guest
Kamalika, My sister-in-law has very sensitive legs as well. She can barly shave, much less wax, and she has the same problem from time to time. She has found success by putting regular white vinegar on a warm rag and rubbing it on her legs. Apparently it helps with the itching, and can aid with healing. Also, I have read that folliculitis can be caused by a deficient immune system. If that is her situation, she might want to add herbal supliments that boost her immune system (i.e. echinacea). It's my understanding that folliculitis is caused by bacteria or fungi infecting the hair follicles (at the root of the hair) for whatever reason. So however you can make that not happen should clear it up.
