Guest guest
I would like to purchase a basic Homeopathic remedy kit for my family. Could anyone recommend an online source and what type of kit would be good for a family just beginning with Homeopathy? Karen
Guest guest
Hi Karen, Try www.abchomeopathy.com/ They have lots of online info and have kits of that type in the online store. They also have a really good remedy finder page where you can search by symptoms. A good site... Guest guest
Actually you may self-treat some conditions if you are armed with a little knowlegde on the basics of homeopathy. Some chronic or acute conditions should be cared for by someone more knowledgable such as a practicing homeopath. ~Connie crixandra <crixandra wrote: --- you need to go to a homeopath doctor ...because is very dangerous to take this pils by yourself . do not listen those who said to find your medecin on sites . by In , wildmouse <wildmouse wrote: > > Hi Karen, > > Try www.abchomeopathy.com/ They have lots of online info and have kits > of that type in the online store. Guest guest
Crixandra, why on earth would you say homeopathic are dangerous? I completely and totally disagree... Of course it's always better to see a homeopathic doctor if you can, but a person can educate them and learn how to treat minor, self limiting things themselves quite easily. I have done it for years. There are very very few homeopathic md's in this state and other states have none at all so some of us have no choice but to self-treat. The person wrote asking about a first aid kit... there is nothing in a homeopathic first aid kit that could be misconstrued as dangerous... I think maybe you are confusing herbals with homeopathy. While most remedies are made from plants/herbs, homeopathy is most certain *not* the same as herbalogy and they do *not* share the same counter indications or other worries. Homeopathy is safe and is not going to interact with other meds or anything like that. You might anti-dote it with coffee, mint or aspartame but a simple first aid kit remedy? Nothing but good there... and certainly *not* dangerous at all. To anyone that is confused about homeopathy and how to use it, please visit the site I mentioned and read up. Buy some books and read up. Buy more books and read them too. Get copies of the Repertory and learn to use them. (I found mine at Goodwill for 5 bucks each!! Homeopathy has too much to offer for people to misunderstand it and then never use it at all... Educate yourself. Guest guest
Greetings, I agree actually and have been doing so for some time now. Of course, you have to do a LOT of reading and research. I keep my reading/resource shelves stocked and consult them regularly FIRST before resorting to allopathic OTC meds for common ailments. The most important thing to know about ANY medication, even homeopathic treatment is the ingredients and your own allergies to specific things. For example... lots of herbal remedies contain chammomile, but I am allergic to ragweed and chammomile is in the ragweed family. Even though the ACTUAL amount of the original substance in the ingredients is extremely minute... it still helps to know these things. I have found local health store employees very helpful and knowledgeable in helping match OTC homeopathic rememdies to my needs. In most cases, they're safer than allopathic OTC's. Of course, for more serious or chronic ailments there is no substitute for consulting with an ND. Warm Regards, T~ (who has been using Ipeccuanha 30X all weekend to help with this nasty intestinal/stoomach virus going around and who gives her grand- daughter... 9 mos. old now... homeopathic teething tabs which work wonders without worries. Both were purchased OTC.) , constance young <connieyounglmt wrote: > > Actually you may self-treat some conditions if you are armed with a little knowlegde on the basics of homeopathy.
