Guest guest
I just can't understand why this stuff is even allowed on the market. Do a simple web search and you'll find there is so much OBVIOUS evidence for it's harm. When you think of it, there are so many harmful products that are accepted and consumed in mass quantities by an unaware public. Think how many THOUSANDS of people die each year from taking prescription drugs, yet if some herb is associated with any health concern in even only a small minority of people, it becomes one of the major news headlines. Guest guest
What do the initials FDA stand for? Federal Death Agency. What do you think their purpose is? Just look at how quickly they okay their seal of approval for the sale and use of all the poisons out there on the market. Wonder why? Money talks and the Mega-Pharmaceutical Machine has tons of it. And they are wanting more which is why they are trying to make vitamins and herbal preparations needing a script in order to obtain. Go figure. Our whole world economy revolves around MONEY. When it should be revolving around PEOPLE. - gar_fla_62 herbal remedies Monday, August 19, 2002 7:03 AM [herbal remedies] Re: Aspartame I just can't understand why this stuff is even allowed on the market. Guest guest
Hi I see we've got the same point of view about FDA. I'm in alternative medicine as simpatico of Aloe Vera, Garlic, Onion and others herbs which help to maintain good health. How you know for example the Aloe Vera plant is using to treat many diseases including cancer too. Surfing Web I found : USA — “Two of our patients have already died, and some others are failing — they’ve been depending on Albarin to save their lives,” said licensed nutritional counselor Joe DiStefano on Dec. 11, two months after a combined FDA-state-county police raid by 120 agents in Tampa/St. Petersburg FL led to the carting off of thousands of patient records, including those of hundreds of advanced cancer patients who had been responding dramatically to the aloe vera-derived “unapproved” treatment. "Ironically, these multiple FDA raids came exactly one month after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center/Pentagon. If you watched TV on October 11, 2001, you heard elected and appointed Federal officials categorically state that all law enforcement resources were being used to fight terrorism, specifically the spreading anthrax endemic. You heard officials at the highest levels of government proclaim that the United States was at war both at home and abroad and that State and Federal government were totally committed to protecting American lives and winning the war against terrorism. The government was not telling the truth! At the very time that anthrax was contaminating congressional office buildings, the FDA was expending resources digging through Joe Di Stefano's garbage and assembling a team of law enforcement personnel to conduct multiple raids." Guest guest
The definitive reference on the subject of Aspartame and other " excitotoxins " or " neurotoxins " such as MSG, is a fantastic book by Russell Blaylock, M.D., entitled " Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills " . Dr. Blaylock is a neurosurgeon and nutritional counselor who has researched this topic in depth and presents it in all of its ugliness, to include the politics, the greed, the cover-ups by the FDA and Monsanto. But most of all, he tells us how to avoid the brain lesions that these substances cause and even how to reverse the symptoms and regenerate lost neurons. When you get into this subject in a serious and concerned manner you will never eat the same again. I hope some of this helps. Ted
Guest guest
I wish that is was never allowed on the market. When I was in college, and working, I was drinking diet coke. This was around 1984. I became so sick. I had migraines and they got worse and worse and one day I couldn't get out of bed. I looked like a raccoon, my eyes were black all around. I went to see a wonderful doctor and she took one look at me and asked me to describe my typical day, my sleep patterns and what I ate and drank. When I told her about the diet coke, she asked how many cans a day. I told her between 4-6. She told me it was the nutrasweet and to stop drinking it immediately. She told me it would take awhile before I felt better. My body had to detox itself. Now I can't have a piece of chewing gum with it in, I end up a terrible headache. My husband is a diet soda addict. I have tried for years to get him to quit drinking it. It sure is scary stuff, it makes me sad that there are folks giving their kids it to drink. I have a friend whose son is a diabetic. He is 12 years old, and so she is limited on what he can drink. Lynne

I thought it was Luke and you were looking for a pet sitter because you were shipping out to war? I had posted your request to my petsitting board which I belong to and I think a couple of the petsitters in your area responded, but you didn't respond back? Are you legit? Or was this a scam? I feel like such an idiot for helping you. Dawn
