I've heard about ear candling, but never tried it. I always thought it was for ear wax only. My right ear is clear of wax but there is definitely fluid behind the ear drum, at least that's what the docs tell me. I'm hesitant to have surgery because in my experience it fixes one problem but creates another! So, you're supposed to lay on your side to do ear candling? How does the fluid drain out if you're on your side, ear facing up? I guess I'll have to research this more. I'm willing to try just about anything right now. The last couple of days my right ear has been throbbing, popping, swishing, and when I breathe out of my nose I can feel it go out my ear! I can't sleep on my right side anymore because the fluid pressure makes my ear very painful and sore when I wake up. Thanks, KC If your eardrum is ruptured, you should probably have it checked....
