Guest guest
Peppermint. It's cheap, effective and there are little contraindications. _http://www.florahealth.com/flora/home/usa/healthinformation/encyclopedias/Pep permintLeaf.asp#Contraindications_ (http://www.florahealth.com/flora/home/usa/healthinformation/encyclopedias/Peppe\ rmintLeaf.asp#Contraindications)
Guest guest
My husband has a serious flatulence problem, beyond that of the normal male Everything he eats makes him gassy, from fruits to meats to veggies to well...anything really. Could there be something wrong that he should be seen for? Is there a holistic way to treat this? Thanks Shianan

I'm not sure what defines " beyond that of the normal male " because they all seem to have an extremely excessive amount. (and this isn't just a bunch of hot air. I realize this is a true problem for many) Jennifer > > Thanks > Shianan >
Guest guest
Sounds like he's not digesting his food efficiently. Maybe he needs digestive enzymes and/or hydrochloric acid. Also don't eat when rushed or stressed. Relax while eating, eat slowly, chew thoroughly. Linda - vlarson1 Sunday, May 21, 2006 5:46 AM Re: Question/Please help Peppermint. Guest guest
Hi Shianan, You actually have many natural options. Chamomile tea is very settling to the digestive system. Ginger or Blessed Thistle can also be used. Eating fresh Papaya or Pineapple would also be beneficial as they are loaded with food enzymes that aid in digestion. I would recommend taking a probiotic supplement as well. Guest guest
I am a new member to the list and I want to lurk. listen and learn. I live with my husband and three sons so I can relate on this topic. We use activated charcoal which you can purchase at most drug stores or health food stores. Take the charcoal capsules separate from any medication or vitamins or they will be absorbed by the charcoal as well. Good luck, Lucinda meregryfalcon wrote: > My husband has a serious flatulence problem, beyond that of the normal > male Everything he eats makes him gassy, from fruits to meats to > veggies to well...anything really. > > Could there be something wrong that he should be seen for?
