Hi All!

I apologize for not getting back to people - Friday morning the next

door neighbor found my grandfather on the floor between his bed and

the wall. A large aneurysm, which no one knew anything about, had

burst in his brain. He's currently fairly stable, but definitely terminal.

It turns out that the palliative nurse, who is a jewel beyond

measure, is going to a day long alternative/therapy

healing/preparing for death (patient and family) seminar fairly

soon. I finally remembered this morning that I had some Bach rescue

remedy in my purse, the box loves to slide out of sight. I gave that

to her to look at, and she's going to get the lotion/cream, since

most of her patients eventually become where they can't swallow. She

does a bit of scent therapy; her cart is in Grandpa's room with

magazines and music and a medium test-tube-type tumbler with an

essential oil - lavender, I think - and scent sticks that can be put

under someone's nose.

I would love to take this seminar with her - I wish! I saw the

brochure. One of the teachers is a Reiki therapist, there's a class

on music therapy, and so on.

So, I was thinking - is there anything else I could be suggesting to

her? Where I get my Bach remedies also has some homeopathy remedies,

but I have no clue with those. I used to know someone who got me

started on Bach, but I no longer am in touch with him, and all I know

is the remedy chooser on the main Bach website.

I have to have something to do - this being unable to do anything to

help Grandpa and Mom, and the waiting/constant expectation and

tension is driving us all nuts. The doctor says Grandpa could last

4-6 weeks or longer. Other things are going on as well, of course.

Gwynn is always looking for things to help her patients and their

families, and she is such a sweetheart, so I'd love to be able to

give something back.

I will pass along any suggestions or ideas to her.

Thanks

Theresa

Theresa,

You may want out this recording from Doctor Alex Omelchek who is a former

head of a large teaching hospital and chief of staff...that is until he had

a sudden rupture of a brain aneurysm. He was not expected to live and spent

twelve years mostly non-functional until he discovered a technology that he

is now an outspoken advocate of...

In spite of what the doctors are telling you, it is NOT hopeless...

Thanks Stan.

Unfortunately, Grandpa passed away on the 22nd, and was buried on the

25th. With all that's been going on, plus the holiday Monday, I'm

now getting to catch up/reply to emails, etc. I am at the site that

you linked to, and am downloading the information. It's too late to

help Grandpa, but maybe someone else.

Thanks again,

Theresa
