Taking " too much " Vitamin C will give you diarrhea - but " too much " depends on

your body's current ability/need to use it. I've had friends who've taken as

much as 20 grams a day (1g. an hour) when they've had the flu or a cold or

worse, and not gotten disturbances from the C. But then as they got better

(most often very quickly with the extra C), their need/use for it lessened,

and they couldn't tolerate the 20g. So they would drop it, gram by gram, until

they were better. I've seen bad colds cured in a day and a half, this way. The

whole trick is to use has much as your body can use, and no more. And then as

your body starts to get better, to step down the amount you're using until

you're back to " maintenance " doses again.

Check out some orthomolecular medicine websites for more info. There's also

some info on the DoctorYourself.com website.
