This advice is free or next to nothing. Download a free manual and

learn how to do EFT: www.emofree.com. Get familiar with the site and

do this daily. It might sound strange but it really works well.

Drugs will not help CFS because CFS is basically just

malnourishment. Buy as much fresh organic produce as you possibly

can and take some extra enzymes with it. Blend it for best

absorbtion. If you have a juicer, then drink as much fresh made

vegetable juice as possible. Eat lots of raw apples to help clean

out the bowels.

Drop the vitamins as it doesn't look like you can absorb them if you

have an overabundance of yeast and you're still sick. You're

flushing your money down the toilet.

To get rid of vaginal yeast infection in a day (or two maximum),

just peel the paper off a clove of garlic, make a couple of thin

knife slits in it and insert into the vagina. Replace it if it

falls out or change it twice a day. This will kill off the yeast

and unfortunately you will smell like garlic for a couple of days

but the infection will be gone and likely it will help you all

around.

Keep drinking lots of water, making sure it is filtered but not R/O

or distilled as they are acidic and not good for sick people (or

anyone for that matter).

Try a liver cleanse (you can email me for directions).

Use a good quality probiotic to replenish your bowels. This is not

the time to save money (use your vitamin money). The qualities are

incredibly different. We've tried lots of brands and found only one

that worked although there are a couple others that are effective

too.

Take the cranberry out of the capsules and mix it with some food or

water to make sure it is going to be digested as well as possible.

Stop eating meat, sugar, dairy and wheat. Short grain brown rice

and lots of vegetables (always with enzymes) are easy on the body

and will help to provide fibre and nutrition.

Any questions? Please email me personally as I'm in the middle of

moving and don't have time to visit the group but I felt this was

important! Hope you feel better soon. There is tons more you can do

but this is a good start.

Maybe you need to get your GSH up to repair your immune system? I have also

read that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can be linked to chemical sensitivity.

Mascara I believe has Famaldehyde (sp?) in it and that is just one chemical of

the 450 I believe we are exposed to each day. Personal care products are pretty

scary. FDA basically from what I have read mostly makes sure ingredients are

listed on the bottle. What the ingredients are isn't as important to them as if

it appears on the label or not. they only get seriously involved if you make a

claim such as " treats acne " . Then you must have a substance in it such as

Salacylic Acid or Benzoil Peroxide which is a true drug that fights acne and you

are regarded as an OTC drug. That they pay attention to.

Remember the two hispanic gals that died from lead posining I think about a year

ago from a skin cream that had lead in it? My mouth dropped open when I heard

that one on the 6 o'clock news.

NAC (N-acetylcysteine) is used by paramedics and hospitals to detoxify patients

who come to them with drug overdoses or exposures that are toxifing their

bodies. NAC is the pharmacutical answer for GSH. I prefer a brand that uses

Bioactive Whey, is listed in the Physician's Desk Reference but is not as

chemically tweeked as NAC. Therfore it does not have side effects and the like

because it is not tweeked as I said. Undenatured whey protein is a natural

extract of milk - a safer more dependable and effective way to raise your

glutathione (GSH) levels. It was developed by a scientific team, but with a

more el natural mentality.

Email me if you would like to know more. I don't want to blab any brand names.

ZZiiiippppppppppppp!

UTI/Yeast

Hi everyone, I'm new here.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well as Multiple Chemical

Sensitivities.

I have had a vaginal yeast infection for a week or so that is

finally responding to treatment with Tea Tree Oil and homeopathics.

I also have a urinary tract infection. I am doing Cranberry

capsules, high dose Vit C, Uva Ursi, Oregon Grape as well as various

vitamins, and lots of water.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I am not able to work and live on a small amount of money and

cannot afford to go to a Holistic doctor, all I can do is go to the

state paid allopath and get a diagnosis. They want me to take

Macrodantin.

I'm feeling very stressed and upset at the moment and don't know

what to do. I am really scared of drugs, besides the horrible things

they do to a body, I have had anaphylactic reactions in the past to

most medications I took. I do believe this can be cleared up using

natural things but I need some moral support and as I said, any

ideas on anything that might work.

Thanks in advance-

Julie

I would say increase your water....

Are you taking probiotics???

I think that is important.

You could also try marshmallow and garlic...

I just went through this not too long ago. My herbalist said not to take to

much vitamin C with UTI....

It looks like everything else you are taking is good.

Are you feeling any better yet?

How to Treat Yeast Infections Naturally

By Dr. Kendra Pearsall

Infection of the vaginal tract (vaginitis) is one of the most common

reasons for women seeking medical attention. There are many types of vaginal

infections, but one of the most common is the yeast infection, Candida

albicans, which is demonstrated by a thick, curdy white, itchy discharge and

reddened, raw vaginal tissue. When the ecology of the vagina is disturbed,

the beneficial bacteria in the vagina are destroyed, and Candida is allowed

to proliferate, leading to a yeast infection. Therefore, if you are a woman

and you have a yeast infection, you must always ask yourself what may have

caused this imbalance.

Here are some questions to consider:

1.. Do you eat sugar, or are you diabetic? (Candida thrives on

sugar.)

2.. Are you wearing synthetic panty hose or panties without a cotton

crotch?

3.. Do you wash your vagina with soap? (Soap can irritate the

tissues. In most cases only water and a washcloth are necessary.)

4.. Do you have a depressed immune function due to an illness or

unhealthy lifestyle? (Eating junk food or inadequate sleep, etc.)

5.. Are you taking antibiotics (which kill healthy flora), steroids

or birth control pills (which adversely affect the pH of the vagina)?

6.. Are you pregnant?

7.. Have you ruled out food, pollen, detergent or semen allergies

with a medical practitioner trained in allergies?

8.. Are you sexually active? (Sexual intercourse is contraindicated

while you are infected as you may pass the Candida to your partner and

continue to pass it back and forth.)

Natural treatments for yeast infections include:

1.. You must eat a healthy, low-sugar, low-grain diet as prescribed

in Dr. Mercola's Total Health Program, which I co-authored. You can get an

idea of the program by checking out the nutrition plan.

2.. You will want to increase your probiotic intake with probiotic

capsules or by eating cultured foods because these contain the good bacteria

that keep your vagina and gastrointestinal tract healthy and will replace

the Candida. This is especially important if you are taking antibiotics.

After I met Donna Gates, author of The Body Ecology Diet, in

February, I have become a strong believer in the importance of cultured

foods and eat them with every meal to aid in digestion. When people complain

to Donna that they don't have time to shred vegetables, she recommends

people make it into a party and prepare it in bulk while socializing.

Cultured vegetables are amenable to mass production because they keep for

months on end without spoiling.

Other good cultured foods are plain organic yogurt and miso.

Cultured foods are eaten in every culture and ideally should be eaten with

every meal because of their amazing health benefits.

3.. Other dietary considerations include avoidance of all simple

sugars, dairy (except if cultured), alcohol, cheeses, dried fruits, melons,

peanuts and all suspected food allergens as all these will exacerbate

Candida.

Natural topical treatments include:

1.. Inserting one Boric acid powder capsule morning and evening for

three to seven days for an acute infection, and 14 to 30 days for a chronic

infection. I have not seen Boric acid capsules widely available in health

stores or pharmacies but women can make their own by buying a bottle of

Boric acid powder and gelatin capsules (a capsule-making machine makes the

process go faster).

Studies show the effectiveness of Boric acid is very high especially

in women with chronic resistant yeast infections--one study with 100 women

showed a 98 percent success rate with this condition. If you find that the

Boric acid irritates your external genitalia you can protect the tissue with

vitamin E oil (preferred) or Vaseline.

2.. Insert a garlic clove into the vagina in the morning and an

acidophilus capsule in the evening for three to seven days.

3.. Prepare a retention douche with bentonite clay, Pau D' Arco tea,

yogurt, tea tree oil and goldenseal and douche two times a day for seven to

10 days.

4.. Soak a tampon with diluted tea tree oil and keep it in the

vagina overnight.

Allopathic treatments include the following anti-fungals:

1.. Clotrimazole, Miconazole, Terconazole suppository creams

available over-the-counter or by prescription.

2.. Fluconazole, a single-dose treatment.

In my experience as a physician, I have been able to treat some of my

female patients with the natural herbal remedies successfully. On the other

hand, I've had female patients who've spent painful itchy days on end

because they insisted allopathic treatments were evil, only to go nearly

insane from their agonizingly raw, irritated vaginas.

Ultimately, a few of these women, perhaps temporarily insane from the

pain, wound up crawling to the store for the anti-fungal creams, ripping

open the box, and inserting the cream right there in the pharmacy aisle!

The moral of this story is that you may wish to experiment with Boric

acid or herbal treatments, but if you do not see results after five days you

may wish to use an allopathic treatment, which is relatively harmless if

used infrequently.

In conclusion, the best way to prevent and treat yeast infections is

to eat a healthy, low-sugar, low-grain diet, eat cultured foods, avoid the

high-risk behaviors described above and experiment with any of the above

treatments that you are intuitively drawn to, and I will bet that Candida

albicans shall not hold your vagina hostage ever again.

I learned something different from each of these sites. I have

included a url for some info specifically for new nursing mothers, as well as

one specifically for vaginal and oral thrush.

Don't be put off if a url makes reference to another condition or

disorder. There are several conditions which are connected to candida. A common

one seems to be low thyroid; if you would like or need thyroid urls let me know

- I have searched that a few weeks ago and have several.

Arthritis is also common & connected to candida, plus a few skin disorders,

etc,. You may find you can get rid of another troublesome condition too.

Good luck.

Hi everyone.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as well as Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.

I have had a vaginal yeast infection for a week or so that is finally

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I am not able to work and live on a small amount of money and cannot afford to

go to a Naturopath, all I can do is go to the state paid allopath and get a

diagnosis.

They want me to take Macrodantin. I'm feeling very stressed and

upset at the moment and don't know what to do. I am really scared of drugs,

besides the horrible things they do to a body, I have had anaphylactic reactions

in the past to most medications I took. I do believe this can be cleared up

anything that might work.

Thanks in advance-

Thank you for the info! I went back to the doctor yesterday and he said the UTI has cleared up. What finally worked was drinking 16 oz water every hour with cranberry capsules and 1000mg of Vit C. Do you know why the herbalist said not to take too much Vit C? I'm wondering if it would have cleared sooner had I not overdone the Vit C.
