Guest guest
Hi, justed wanted to find out what you feel bedbugs are, I think I have them as well, are they transparent seed like, my cat sleeps with me on my covers at night, but I find these little things around some times, also I am finding white tiny seed like things that have attached themselves to me primarily around my hairline, usually only one or two at a time? These look different than the ones I find in bedding, but are they related? Can anyone give me insight as to what these are? Thanks
Guest guest
Yes, as we studied parasitic pathologies, the description is correct. They are transparent, however, I never knew them to lay eggs in the hairline like nits. Has anyone else? Unfortunately, the cockroach is this disgusting creatures' only natural predator and all know the health risks associated with both creatures existance in a homestatic environment. I don't know, short of new bedding what can be done as they live in the matting. I am interested in others' responses. I have suffered reoccurances of head lice for 10 years!!!!!!! Do you have itchy scalp? I must keep getting reinfected from my daughter's school I guess. Can you collect samples on a piece of scotch tape to show a doctor or pharmacist or dermatologist? The bed bug problem is described by a lady on the bipolar forum as black roundish bugs that scatter when the light turns on, and suck blood. They can hide behind wallpaper and bedframes, and many places. They lay eggs, too. They have to be sprayed. Some expensive hotel chains are getting them! Because of the elimination of DDT and the introduction of "Heavenly Beds" that have many pillows, comforters, shams, etc.
Guest guest
I think if you had bedbugs you would know it. It's my understanding that they are not shy at feeding off you. You would probably have red welts on your legs from their bites. It almost sounds like some kind of flea, but then again, I would think they would be biting you, or you would be itching. I would strip the bedding, and wash all of it in hot water. Same goes with anything you've worn to be. Vacuum and dust the room. Then experiment by not letting the cat in the bedroom for a night or two and see what happens. If you have no problem, perhaps a trip to the vet to check the cat for whatever the heck is showing up in your bed. Bugs of all sorts hate lavender essential oil. Perhaps adding some to a spray bottle with some water and misting your bed before and after making it up, and spraying your carpet might help. Guest guest
I sounds like the little white things are flea eggs that have fallen off the cat. I used to find these on my couch where the cat would lay. bed bugs are dark in color much like body lice. actually I believe they are the same. Just my 1/13th I could be wrong as to them being the same. head lice are white and do get around the hair line and right around the ears and nape of the neck . head lice are hard to spot with the eye but the eggs are easy to spot. Once the eggs hatch the casing has a silvery sheen. tee tree oil in your shampoo will take care of the head lice. 10 drops in a small amount of your shampoo. Put shampoo in palm of your hand add tee tree oil and shampoo as you normally would. The Tee tree oil will work for most bugs. - morbid_vamp_soul Monday, April 17, 2006 8:09 PM Re: Bedbugs I think if you had bedbugs you would know it.
