Sharon, Do the Nikken insoles have the Bio-North and the Bio-South poles marked on them? If not, don't buy them. It is the Bio-North pole that should be against the skin as it is the healing pole. The Bio-South stimulates and can even cause cancer cells to grow if there are any in the body. Bio-South pole on a magnet CAN be used for some types of healing, but, ONLY by a doctor. I used to sell Bio-magnets and in my research I found that many magnet companies do not mark their magnet products which is VERY scary! Check out th emagnet insoles in stores like Fred Meyer. They are not marked. I also found out that most of the Nikken magnet products are NOT marked (if any). I also found out that the reason why so many 'customers' of Nikken products complain about how awful they feel when they sleep on the magnet mattresses is because they are not marked and it is greatly suspected by many professionals

that the Bio-South pole is against the body which is very bad and very unhealthy. I hate Nikken. Their products are not marked with the Bio-North or Bio-South...their products are priced VERY high...and, they are an MLM company which just lines the pockets of their sellers. Now, I will say this in my own defense (smile>...the last I checked on Nikken's products was in 2000, so, if since then, Nikken has started marking their products, then, hats off to them! However, I just checked their products on their website and the poles are not marked there. On other more reputable magnet products' companies websites and catalogs their poles are noted.
