Guest guest
One thing that you can do to help with anxiety is learn to slow down your breathing. Though this is not an easy undertaking, it is one that will benefit you in many ways. Anxiety is supported (and sometimes even created) by fast, upper-chest breathing, which results in hyperventilation. Hyperventilation constricts airways and blood vessels. There are some free practices on http://www.authentic-breathing.com that may help with your problem--especially the belly breathing practice and straw breathing. But take your time and work in a relaxed way. Also, there is a medical device discussed on the website that can also help with stress and anxiety and with high blood pressure. It works by slowing down your breathing. You can also sign up on the site for Authentic Breathing News, a free e-mail newsletter that provides breathing exercises, insights, research, and much more.
