I'm on 150 mgs of Wellbutrin, as I was never able to find a non med that would work for my generalized anxiety. Now I don't have any. Let us know how you make out! Guest guest
Increase you Chromium and magnesium intake ot begin taking it if you do not already. St. John's wort may assist and Borage and Thyme tea can reduce the feeling of anxiety. Most of all keep in touch with your medical provider and how you are feeling, sometime the feeling can overcome you much stronger and the herbs may not assist enough. Hope this will help you through it!! Guest guest
Hi, How about tea? Chamomile is very soothing and relaxing, and may help a little bit at least. Inhaling the essential oil of valerian is also a natural calmer-downer (but it smells awful)! Neroli is another very calming oil for inhalation, though it's pretty expensive. If you're in a Natural Foods Store, check the teas - some of them have names like Tension Tamer and actually work a bit. Though a nice massage works well too In any case, hang in there and keep thinking it'll get better. Good luck, Marilyn , " rockabillie_13 " <AMAZINGTEARDROP wrote: > > hello there, > > does anybody know of a good supplement for anxiety?? i am > in the process of tapering off of a benzodiazepine and need help with > the anxiety from the withdrawal?? any advice would help. Guest guest
Dear rock, The best way and safe way of managing anxiety is to use some ayurvedic herbs and practice of pranayama ,meditation. Take equally Mixed powder of Brahmi,Jatamamsi and shankhapuspi at the dose of 1/2 spoon mixed with 1 spoon of cow ghee every morning and bed time before food. Rub 2 spoons of Brahmi tailam over the vertex for few minuts and keep for 1/2 hr then clean with cloth or yu may have head bath. This can be done best before going to bed.Avoid addictions like smoking, drinking etc...And you have to reduce benzodiazepine in tappering manner ,means in first month you take (after starting ayurvedic herbs)3/4 of the regular dose second month 1/2 the dose and third month 1/4 of regular dose then discontinue for ever. I wish you all the best............ Guest guest
hi there, i know how you feel right now, i have done the same thing some years ago, i was on lorazepam and inderal for almost 10 years. i know how horrible and hard it is, try to go real slow with the tapering off process. i did 1/4 pill every two weeks, and sometimes 3 weeks. it took me like 6 months to come off one pill and took some more work to get it out of my system, but you can do it! i would like to advice you to buy a juicer and juice everyday, this will clean you out and make you stronger, everyone should do this to stay healthy, i have done intestinal cleanse one and two to eliminate all toxins from my body. do a search on this please. then i would like to advice you to look at this website, www.emofree.com free downloads to learn how to do this wonderful gift. i also want you to look at this group http://health.authentic-breathing-news/ and learn how to breath propperly. i thought i did, but was wayyyy off.......... look in the link section and find more about breathing, do s free online test, i'm sure that is the way to go to reduce or get rid of anxiety. i'm almost there myself, wayyyyyyyyyyyyy less. stay away from everything that has refined sugar in it, coffeine, regular bleached salt, all the junkfoods........you get the picture. hope this helps, stay strong and positive, you will get there, just go slowly off the pills, give your body time to understand what is going on, easy does it. one more link, try this http://www.falundafa.com/ it is all free and you can download free from their website to read the book and exercises, thanks, rik > hello there, > > does anybody know of a good supplement for anxiety?? i am > in the process of tapering off of a benzodiazepine and need help with > the anxiety from the withdrawal?? any advice would help.
