Does Estrogen and/or Progesterone cause or contribute to Hyperthyroidism?

Hi, all, I read somewhere that Estrogen can cause Hyperthyroidism...and, in Elaine Moore's book, one of the ladies in the testimonial chapter says she stopped taking her progesterone because it had contributed to her Hyper...anyone know more about this? I need specific info/books/websites to be sure... Thank you, everyone! Aimee
