Guest guest
Hi Sherry Would this be one that I would also have to dilute first? Or does it depend on brands? The one I have is by Now. I used it on cuts and such direct on the skin. Gwen > Gwen, > > > > I rub tea tree oil on my gums. It seems to really help me. > > > > Sherry > > > > Sherry L. Guest guest
Hello, I have some Colloidal Silver I purchased in bottles a year or so ago from Puritan's Pride. Does anybody know if their product is of any quality? Also wondering how long colloidal silver lasts once the bottle is open and do you store it in the refrigerator or not? Lor Essential oil - Thieves or Colloidal Silver Swish in mouth 3+ times per day.- Be blessed
Guest guest
Gwen or anyone, I have gum disease also and I'm wondering where I should buy some tea tree oil. I have some Aura Cacia tea tree essential oil from a whole foods store, but I'm not sure this is a good product to use on gums or just in a diffuser. Lor Gwen, I rub tea tree oil on my gums. It seems to really help me. Sherry

Guest guest
Gwen, I use Tea Tree Oil undiluted. I have sometimes used the Thieves blend too. I can tolerate it undiluted. The cinnamon in it does make it hot. You might just try a small area if you are going to apply it neat or mix it with some vegetable oil if you want to dilute it. Hope this helps, Sherry Sherry L. Guest guest
I keep a mouth wash dispenser in the bathroom it hold less than a quart. I fill it with pure water and add about 1/2 ounce of thieves to it. Kristina , " gwenbob39 " <gwenbob39 wrote: > > Thank You > Do I have to Dilute the Thieves first? Guest guest
--I don't keep mine in the fridge. I have never had a bottle go bad. This is one thing that I use for just about everything from a comon cold to cleaning. If you have not touched the top of the bottle or taken swigs right from it, it should be ok still. How many ppm's is it? (parts per million) you can compare your label with NSP's at www.mynsp.com/bygrace go to products, then c, scroll down to colliodal silver and you should be able to bring up lable information and a fact sheet. Guest guest
Hi, Gwen, A friend of mine developed a really bad gum disease which would require gum surgery...her dentist told her to try something else first...1 tsp. baking soda to 1/2 tsp. salt...brush with this mixture 3 times per day instead of the toothpaste...she tried it and her gums were healed and didn't have to have the surgery... I had bleeding gums a few years ago and I used the same baking soda/salt mixture and my gums stopped bleeding... Concerns are: sea salt is best as table salt has a bad additive to it...buy the more fine grained sea salt...also, if you have thyroid problems, buy the sea salt w/o iodine in it...also, brushing with salt over a long period of time (like many, many months) can damage your enamel...same, though, with lemon juice over long periods of time... Tea tree oil will only work for your gum problems if tit is caused by a bacteria as tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic...ask your dentist what is actually causing your gum disease..... Guest guest
Hey Aimee, This makes a lot of sense. My great grandmother brushed her teeth with salt and baking soda when she was a child. Tooth paste has a foaming agent called sodium lauryl sulfate which oddly enough they put in shampoo for the same reason. It is well documented in scientific literature that it is a skin irritant and also causes dry scalp when used everyday in shampoo. It is also one of the ingredients beside alcohol that makes your eyes sting when you get shampoo in your eye. WHen you look at the tearless baby shampoo bottles, they use a milder compound call sodium laureth sulfate. Guess where else they use sodium lauryl sulfate??? Car wash soaps, engine degreasers, industrial strength cleaners for garage floors...etc. So gum irritation can definitely be caused by toothpaste. The tea tree oil is for the bacteria as you said. They also sell a type of toothpaste without the SLS. Check the label. Guest guest
Kristina, Sorry for the late delay here at responding. My colloidal silver is 3ppm and it says it contains then only purifed water. It has an expiration date of 10/07. Some I did swig from...and kept them in the refrig, so I tossed them. I have one here yet that appears to be unused. I'm just not too sure about the Puritan's Pride products, as I haven't been happy with any of the other supplements I've tried from there and neither was my daughter. They are always having a sale, like buy 2 and get one free, etc. Thanks for the site. I will check it out. Lor --I don't keep mine in the fridge. I have never had a bottle go bad.
