Dear Claudia

I will be lifting you up in prayer this Thursday

My mother had the same procedure to her lower esophagus. They put her to sleep and lowered a camera down there to see her hiatal hernia. Then I believe they used a balloon to open up the esophagus so she can swallow her food better. She now takes Nexium (the little purple pill) everyday and seldom has a problem..

Please make sure you have someone to take care of you when you get home who will read the post op instructions. You will need some time to recover from the anesthesia and to sleep and get your rest

Place your hand in the hand of the man who calmed the sea (this is a song I learned as a teenager)

Please keep us informed

Athena

Hi, I'm probably a little late in adding to this

discussion but thought I would offer this advice to

anyone with chronic fatigue and/or fibromyalgia. Both

of these conditions are caused by adrenal exhaustion

or adrenal fatigue (whichever term you prefer).

Symptoms can be greatly reduced if not eliminated by

treating the AF (adrenal fatigue). James L. Wilson

wrote a book on AF that is very helpful. I completely

rid myself of all symptoms of CFS and fibromyalgia

twelve years ago by treating my adrenal exhaustion. Of

course, I am now treating it again because the last

few years have been extremely stressful for me, but

the symptoms are already much better including the

very painful arthritic knees that I have been hobbling

around on. I can now get out of a chair without

pain...and that's a biggie in my book. Had I started

treating the AF sooner I could have avoided these last

weeks of brain fog, joint pain, upset stomach,

headaches, extreme fatigue and sleepiness, etc. There

are several excellent websites on AF and you can find

them through Google by typing in adrenal fatigue. I

strongly encourage anyone with CFS or AF to consider

adrenal fatigue as the source of their problems and

start a program of treating the AF as soon as

possible. You can get almost everything you need at

the health food/vitamin store in your location.

I hope all with CFS and fibromyalgia will look into

this for some relief. You will have to do this

yourself as doctors rarely do, despite all the

research and information available on AF. Good health!
