Dear Jagannath,

Thanks for waging the good fight on the noble

tradition of Ayurveda. Keep it up, and keep us

posted.

To all on this great list:

Let's not give in to fear regarding the powers of

the evil "they".

Let's just keep making choices that affirm another

reality.

We are beings of light, living by the grace of the

Great Mystery (Name of choice) in a miraculous

body that is capable of incredible feats of

regeneration as long as we practice some

sound basic principles.

We are part of an equally miraculous Living

Earth, full of healing plants no matter where

we are.

We are also a feedback loop of body, mind, and

spirit/emotions, with healing powers in our mind,

heart and hands. But that is another topic.

I just want to encourage anyone with a scrap of

earth, or even a balcony or sunny windowsill,

to grow some Healing Herbs that will thrive in

your area, so you won't have to panic if the

government tries to ban yet another helpful formula

in order to support "Big Pharma".

Learn which widely available "weeds" in your region

are Healers in humble disguise.

When is the last time you stopped to admire

the incredible glory of a blossoming Dandelion?

Lift a Dandelion seedhead so you can see the

sun shine through it. A stunningly beautiful mandala.

Dandelion gives us food, medicine and beauty, freely.

It is only one among many.

Empower yourself. Connect directly to Mother Earth.

Teach the children.

Show them the connection between Food and Earth.

Even some planters on a balcony or a pot in a sunny

windowsill can do this.

My daughter has a thriving herb and salad garden on the

ledge of her East facing balcony in the Vancouver, B.C. area.

Her 7-year old son loves picking green onions, parsley or

some mesclun mix for a meal, or fresh mint or lemon balm

leaves for tea.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day, :).

Time to start working on the Richter's order. It looks like

we'll have an early spring.
