Guest guest
Marci, There are wonderfull books on the subject. I like " Akalise or Die. " In a nutshell I would say to learn more about HOW alkalising the foods you eat are. I don't buy PH drops, I simply add lemon juice to my water each day - as lemons are one of the most alkalising foods we can eat. It balances me out more than say a granny smith apple would. There may be aspects of your diet that are acidifying you that you are unaware of as well- (such as artificial sweeteners.) Perhaps the best thing to do would be to keep a food journal of everything you eat for a one-two week period and then take it to a Naturopathic doctor. If you have a good local health food store they may be able to give you insight too, but the food diary would be the best starting point no matter who you wanted advice from. Good luck!
