Guest guest
Good Morning, My name is Lisa and I have been increasingly interested in the natural/alternative health field for about 3 years now. My family has experienced many hardships, which I believe, we have may not lived through if it hadn't been for the postive influence of herbs, body work, and mind/body therapy via biofeedback. We have been seeing two naturopaths that are in business together but are always interested in new methodologies. Recently, word of mouth (and quite possibily God), has sent us to a man who uses the application of oils to heal. I do not think it is aromatherapy, for he says the physical application onto your feet treats the problem within 3 seconds. (He uses Young Living oils). He told me I had stomach parasites and some somewhere else as well. He also referred to an electrical " breaker " system. But this was the very tip of the iceberg. While his intention is to assist in good health, he does so by addressing emotions from the time of conception. He told me about feelings I had in the womb at 3 months that caused the severe bowel troubles I have had for 25 years. He informed me of events throughout my life that my body held onto as " traumas " and was able to affirm whether or not what I was acknowledging them as were actually the incident or something else. He was able to tell me things about people in my life -- personality characteristics and pain that they had experienced that led them to where they are. My faith was unwaivering. It was very spiritual (please note that I did not say religious ... but spiritual). And as he identified the emotions, he told me what i needed to heal each of them, for example, hope and peace came up often. But I am pained by what he told me next. I asked about my fiancee ... and he told me awful things. Several things that I know he is to a tee ... selfish, arrogant, ignorant, etc ... those things were easily explained by events in his past that were also explained to me. But he continued to elaborate on his controlling nature -- that he is deceptive, and worst of all ... that he is being unfaithful. When I questioned if that HAD happened, he assured me firmly that it IS happening -- and with TWO other women. (We do have a long distance relationship so that opportunity is totally there ... but never in a million years did I think it.) So, my ultimate question is this. What is this method? how is he able to do it? (he rubs two fingers and asks questions outloud to get answers). Instinctually i believe the man -- he told me so many truths. But i don't want to be gullible. And it seems like such a stretch. If ANYONE could enlighten me about this method of healing, I WOULD SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATE IT! I really need to talk about this with people who know ... Thank you for your time, whomever can give of themselves, Lisa
Guest guest
Hi Lisa: My name is Jacqui. I am new to this list, but recognize the " rubs two fingers and asks questions outloud to get answers " technique as a form of muscle testing. Muscle testing can be quite accurate, depending on the training and experience of the individual. It is also known as Applied Kiniesiology, or " AK, " and has been used for years by Chiropractors to get answers from the body about structural misalignments, and by others in somewhat similar fashion as you described. Muscle testing has its limitations, and is rarely 100% accurate. The way the person forms the questions and their ability to explore an answer can increase their accuracy. You do not have to be trained or have a certificate, you don't even have to have attended a single class to be able to do muscle testing. There are books and websites that describe how to do the technique, although success with the technique varies widely for individuals with little or no training. It sounds as if the man who is helping you is adept at performing the technique, but that does not necessarily mean he is 100% accurate. Pray. Ask God for guidance. Ask to be shown the truth. Ask your fiancee. Pay attention to the first feeling that comes to you. Sometimes our fears are the first thing that comes to the surface, and fears can block the guidance we seek. If fear comes up, calm yourself. Sometimes I find it necessary to do something else and come back to God again at a later time to ask for guidance when I can remain open and receptive. God will answer us, when we ask for help and guidance. I have experienced this over and over in my life. Perhaps you have too, from the sound of your email. Regarding essential oils -- I have used essential oils for health and healing for over 10 years now, and have used Young Living's oils and oil-enhanced products exclusively for the past 6 years because my family and I have experienced dramatic results with these products. Young Living does not teach muscle testing, but they do provide the best oils I have found anywhere. There are others that are good, to be sure, and I used oils from other companies for 4 years before I found Young Living, but have been thrilled with the quality as well as the large variety of oils, oil-blends and oil-enhanced products available from Young Living. Hope this is helpful to you. Guest guest
Hello Lisa I read your beautifully worded email with interest. I couldn't name his type of healing methods, but he does sound like a clairvoyant. I suggest you listen to your inner voice regarding his authenticity and also regarding what he has told you. This is always easier on an organic vegan diet and lots of peace and meditation. Peace, Gabrielle - " lisamarie101381 " <lisamarie101381 Monday, November 14, 2005 11:48 PM What IS this type of treatment and can anyone do it? > Good Morning, > > My name is Lisa and I have been increasingly interested in the > natural/alternative health field for about 3 years now. Guest guest
Hello, Your experiences have already taught you that there is a spiritual dimension to health and healing. There are some very intuitive healers and this one my actually be receiving vibes in connection to you. The best way to prove ANY theory is to find out the truth. How you do this is up to you. You may choose to confront your fiancee but this leaves him the option of lying to you. Or you may try other methods. If you find out beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is unfaithful to you, you will know that the healer was right. Since you agree that he is selfish, arrogant and controlling, you should know that these traits do not contribute to a happy and longlasting relationship. People with these traits are takers and not givers and eventually wear their partners out. No matter how emotionally involved you are with this man you would be wise to reconsider him as a life partner. It is easier to get over a broken heart than to recover from a disastrous marriage. This I tell you from experience. I hope this helps you in some way. Be happy and healthy. Best regards, Melba --- lisamarie101381 <lisamarie101381 wrote: > Good Morning, > > My name is Lisa and I have been increasingly > interested in the > natural/alternative health field for about 3 years > now.
